Screech Owl Grey Phase

I volunteered with a wildlife rehabber who specialized in birds of prey, so I know the power of owls personally (handcuffed to a perch once by Iris the Great Horned Owl). This little screechie is a common sight, or sound (you almost never see them) in the eastern woodlands. They come in red, and grey and occasionally a lovely shade of chocolate.
